Heather Williams, MSN, RN, is a nurse educator with professional interests in nursing education, pediatric health, and student-centered learning. In her current role, she teaches didactic nursing courses and pediatric clinical experiences, using evidence-based instruction and practical clinical application to support the development of safe, confident, and compassionate nurses. Williams brings more than a decade of nursing experience in acute care, school-based public health, and nursing education, including a strong background in clinical instruction and providing education to students, families, and healthcare professionals.
Her areas of expertise include nursing education, pediatric and school health, clinical instruction, health promotion, and patient and family education. She is particularly interested in creating supportive learning environments that help nursing students connect classroom knowledge with clinical practice and strengthen their clinical judgment. Outside of nursing education, Williams enjoys spending time with family and appreciating the close-knit communities of Southeastern Kentucky.
