Jovon L. Howe is interested in leadership development, athletics, campus ministry, business, and law. He currently serves as the Assistant Campus Minister of Athletics at the University of the Cumberlands, where he works closely with student-athletes and coaches to strengthen faith-based involvement across campus.
His primary focus is expanding the Fellowship of Christian Athletes program by recruiting and developing student leaders, organizing campus gatherings, and helping establish sport-specific huddles. Through this work, he seeks to create opportunities for student-athletes to grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and become confident leaders within their teams and communities.
Howe also has experience in collegiate athletics as a wrestler, team captain, and member of the wrestling coaching staff. These experiences have shaped his interest in mentorship, teamwork, discipline, and service. His long-term professional interests include combining his background in business, leadership, and ministry with a future career in law.
Originally from Idaho, Howe currently lives in Williamsburg, Kentucky. Outside of his professional responsibilities, he enjoys wrestling, working on vehicles, spending time outdoors, and serving within the local community.
