Sarah Algaradi is an adjunct faculty member in the Undergraduate Information Technology Program at the University of the Cumberlands. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Information Technology with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence, where her research focuses on AI adoption in higher education, faculty readiness, and the responsible integration of artificial intelligence into teaching and learning.

Sarah has several years of experience teaching undergraduate information technology, cybersecurity, and computer science courses. In addition to teaching, she has contributed to curriculum development, including the design of AI-focused courses and learning experiences. Her professional interests include artificial intelligence, AI ethics, generative AI, cybersecurity, instructional technology, and curriculum design.

With nearly a decade of experience in higher education, Sarah has served in both academic administration and teaching. She previously supported international students, developed global academic partnerships, and led initiatives to enhance student success. She now combines those experiences with her passion for teaching, curriculum development, and making artificial intelligence accessible, practical, and ethical for the next generation of technology professionals.

Outside of the classroom, Sarah enjoys traveling and spending time with her two children. She has visited ten countries and enjoys experiencing different cultures and perspectives. One of her favorite University of the Cumberlands memories is starting her doctoral journey and now having the opportunity to return as an adjunct faculty member, giving back to the same community that has supported her academic and professional growth.
