Scarlet Thomas is a LCSW who has her own private practice and is the executive director for the Kentucky Society for Clinical Social Work. . She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has a lot of experiencing studying trauma and modalities of treatment to assist in processing it. Scarlet has worked in a variety of areas of social work including adolescent residential treatment, the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, providing services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, outpatient therapy, and clinical management. Scarlet is passionate about social work and teaching others about the field.
