Caps, Gowns, & Announcements

It’s all part of the rite of passage: the stately parade with your peers, gowns flowing, the pomp, the circumstance and then throwing the cap high. Regalia is part of the tradition – and required attire for those in Commencement Ceremonies.

If you are participating in Commencement, you will need University-approved regalia. On Commencement Day, please bring all contents of your cap and gown packet. All university regalia is special ordered, so no "extra" supplies will be available to purchase at the last minute.

On-Campus Ordering: Students who are on campus may order regalia by visiting or contacting the Office of the Registrar (606.539.4316).

Off-Campus Ordering: If you need your regalia shipped to you, please contact the UC Bookstore (606.539.4354).

Diplomas & Transcripts

All diplomas for all graduating students may be picked up in the Intramural Gymnasium immediately following Commencement. Those not participating in the May Commencement Ceremony can pick up their diploma at the Registrar’s Office during regular business hours or will receive their diploma via mail. To ensure we have your correct mailing address, please look at your account in My UC and contact the Registrar’s Office if you need it corrected.
*Errors can occur in the preparation and printing of your diploma. Please immediately report any errors to University Communications
