The University of the Cumberlands Patriot Marching Band held their annual High School Band Day event on November 15-16. 64 students from 22 Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio schools participated in this year’s event. Schools represented this year included:

During this two-day event, high school students rehearsed with the UC Band,  attended a performance by the UC Jazz Ensemble, played games, watched a movie, and performed with the Marching Patriots at the UC vs. Lindsey Wilson football game both in the stands and during halftime.

Patriot Marching Band director Shawn Sudduth said of the event, “The Patriot Marching Band is a special organization on our campus, and every year it is so much fun to host high school band students and introduce them to our unique brand of energy and excitement. The number of participants this year made it super enjoyable for everyone involved – we treasure our relationships with high school band programs and their amazing students.”
