Available Internships
Pepsi Cola of Corbin is a family-owned Pepsi franchise that has been serving SE Kentucky since 1938 and most recently expanded into Southwest Virginia. We are looking for junior/senior college students to join our intern program for our 2026 summer session. Our internship will provide participants with the opportunity to learn about our business by working in various departments within our facilities. The departments would include Production, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Vending, Safety, and HR. This internship would include hands-on experience and a general understanding of the department and its relationship to the overall business.
The intern would work Monday -Friday from June 1st to July 31st. The 9-week internship would be divided into two segments. The first segment would last for six weeks with the aim of exposing the intern to various parts of our business. The second segment would include a three-week session where the intern will take on a project that corresponds to the intern’s major including a presentation to senior leadership at the end of the internship.
Skills
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Must be able to commit to a 30–40-hour week Monday through Friday with variable start times.
- Strong desire to learn, along with professional drive
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365) is required.
- Must be a team player who is professional, diplomatic, and tactful in all interactions with staff, management, applicants, etc.

Summer Internship
Paid Internship - Interns will receive a $250/week stipend and host homes will be provided if needed.
Applications are open through February 1, 2026
Beginning the last week of May, all interns will spend a portion of their summer learning and serving together on Student Ministry trips and at Southland events.
Each intern will also receive specialized training in a specific area of ministry as they are paired with a staff member to serve alongside and learn from their wisdom and experience. Interns will gather weekly for cohort learning and encouragement.

Position Overview
The Communications Intern will support the Marketing and Public Relations team with internal and external communications efforts. This internship provides hands-on experience in healthcare marketing, storytelling, brand engagement, and multimedia content creation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with writing and editing content for social media, website, newsletters, and internal communications
- Support media relations efforts, including drafting press releases and community announcements
- Help plan and promote events, campaigns, and service line initiative
- Capture and organize content ideas, including stories, photos, testimonials, and video concepts
- Assist with basic videography and video editing for digital and social media platforms
- Perform general marketing and communications support as needed
Learning Outcomes
- Real-world experience in healthcare communications, PR, and multimedia storytelling
- Exposure to branding, media relations, video production, and digital marketing strategies
- Development of professional writing, communication, and content creation skills

Preferred Qualifications
